It is a small house, built high up. The main house is on the second floor, with the large all-in-one spacious living and dining and kitchen area. There are large double doors that open up to the bedroom and off that is the ensuite bathroom. There is AC in the bedroom only so you can close it off if needed or leave them open for the breeze and air if not. The bathroom has hot and cold running water, and a spacious walk in shower. There is Internet and local Cable TV which has 70 US TV channels including sports and news. There are balconies on three sides with chairs and hammocks everywhere. Inside-outside living is the way here!
Downstairs is the separate Tiny Garden Studio and has a queen bed, Air-conditioning, mini fridge/kitchenette, attached ensuite bathroom and desk area if you need to work. It’s s tight fit in here so bare that in mind. There is a fabulous new deck facing east now too.
The garden is large, full of tropical flowers and trees and a complete delight and unusual for this part of town. It is well fenced so you have your own space and privacy. I live next door, just out of sight, but you can always contact me.
2-3 minute walk from the Water Taxi’s and a 10 minute walk from the Split and same again to the airport.
Caye Caulker is the perfect place for social distancing – naturally – without having to try.
